System Renovation & Restoration
Watering (irrigating)
landscape properly is an ongoing process, each year requires fine
tuning and sometimes updating of the system.
Shrubs and trees grow and mature, blocking the water spray and coverage.
Watering requirements
of shrubs and trees change as they mature.
Flowers and annuals
are planted in new areas, which nearly always require more water
than established shrubs.
New flower pots
are added on patios, pool decks, or inside shrub beds.
Flower pots always
require more water and more frequent watering than flowers planted
in the ground.
New shrub beds
are added, which need to be watered on zones separate from the
lawn.
Sun and shade
conditions on the landscape change.
New shrubs, flowers
or turf with different sun/shade requirements are planted.
The original
system may not have been properly designed or installed.
Changes may have
been made through the years resulting in un-matching precipitation
rates of heads and nozzles.

Quality
Irrigation & Sprinkler Services
Our priority, our
primary goal, has always been to provide high quality irrigation
service. We have invested years hiring, training, and supporting
technicians and crews who can perform excellent quality work.
In support of
this goal we have also equipped our service trucks with the parts
and tools needed
to do a job efficiently.
We make great efforts to be professional by approaching our work in a way
that will give our customers the best long-term benefits.
First, we work
to make accurate assessments of the sprinkler or irrigation system
and the problems
we find. We then work
to make the repairs or
improvements for the best long term benefits. A short
term “quick fix” is simply not good enough.
Most often we can
tell you in advance what the costs will be for the repairs or improvements.
Through the years, our customers
have universally
appreciated knowing what the costs were going to be up-front, so that
they could make an informed decision about doing the work.
We have been here since 1979 to promptly respond to service needs,
and we will be here to stand behind our work in future years. Let us
know
when we can help.
Our
Motto: "No
mess left behind."

Services and
Service Calls
A Service Call normally
consists of checking the operation of the system,
providing a written list of
needed repairs including detailing of prices of any parts required, and a fee
for
the
service
call.
The fee to check a
standard residential system, consisting of 12 Zones or less, is
$55.00. Larger
systems or commercial systems can be checked
on either an hourly fee basis or a flat fee that will
be quoted in advance.
Irrigation and Sprinkler Service
Technicians look for the following when checking the system:
Are all
zones being activated?
Are the zones pressurizing properly?
Are there any leaks?
Are all of the nozzles spraying fully and in the proper direction?
Are the rotary heads turning and returning properly?
Is the head spacing and nozzle selection providing reasonably
even coverage?
Why
are proper spacing of sprinkler heads and uniform coverage
important?
Sprinkler heads that are spaced too far apart result in thin coverage
between the heads. Areas close
to the head may get 10-times as much
water as the thin area. To keep the thin area watered, one
has to water
10 times too much in the close area, resulting in a waste of money
and water. Over-watering
also damages plant material or turf.
After checking the system, our technician will give you a written
list of repairs needed, and changes that
can be made to improve coverage.
You can then authorize the technician to do any or all of the work.
Our objective is to help you keep your shrubs, flowers, trees, and
lawn healthy and vigorous, by providing
a means to water as needed,
but only as much as needed. Water is going to become a more limited
and a
more costly resource in the future. An efficiently operating
sprinkler system will conserve water and save money.

Issues
inherent in landscape and lawn sprinkler and irrigation systems:
Service
technicians: Well trained and supervised sprinkler and irrigation
technicians are essential for proper
maintenance and repair. They will keep your system running like
a fine tuned watch.
Sprinkler
leaks: Leaking sprinklers increase your water bills and
can lower your operating water pressure
below what is needed for effective irrigation of your property.
Over-watering: Excessive watering increases your water bill and
is harmful for your lawns, shrubs, trees, and
flower gardens. Your system really requires professional annual maintenance
and adjustments.
It will save
you money on your water bills.
Water
conservation irrigation: Too little and too much irrigation are
wasteful of water and money. Professional
system maintenance
is a small investment that pays good "dividends".
Damage
to plant material: This speaks for itself. Proper irrigation
keeps plant damage to a minimum. Prevent
damage to your turf.
Proper pressure
and pressurizing of your irrigation and sprinkler system is a necessary
element in keeping your
lawns and landscape beautiful and will actually save you money and
water too.
